Publications
Listing(s) in the following NCVC print and digital publications where applicable

  • Nashville Visitors Guide: Printed semi-annually (500,000 annual circulation) and distributed to visitors, as well as a digital guide.
  • Meeting Planning Guide: Printed annually (2,500 annual circulations) and distributed to meeting planners who have booked their meeting or are considering booking their meeting in Nashville, as well as a digital guide.
  • Discounted Ad Rates: Members receive discounted rates on advertisements purchased in the Nashville Visitors Guide and Meeting Planning Guide. Advertisements are sold by Journal Communications, Inc.

Brochure Racks (Nashville Visitor Center)
All members have the opportunity to display your company brochure in the NCVC Visitor Information Center (over 100,000 visitors annually) located in the Bridgestone Arena tower for visitor exposure. Brochures must be 4.5” x 9.5” in size. Other sizes subject to approval and availability. Additional opportunities for small posters promoting key events or exhibits to be displayed based on approval and space availability.

Leisure Sales Program
Participation in the Leisure Sales Program gives your business opportunities for incremental sales and additional exposure through NCVC’s multiple marketing channels.

  • Lodging Reservations
    Hotels and lodging members have the opportunity to participate in our reservation system managed by aRes Travel, allowing leisure visitors to make reservations through our professional customer service center or online at visitmusiccity.com. Member participation is automatic for hotels with room inventory in the Global Distribution System (GDS) or through direct hotel chain agreements.
  • Leisure Vacation Packages
    Lodging, attractions, events, restaurants, and retail partners have the opportunity to participate in a vacation package reservation system managed by aRes Travel. Leisure visitors purchase themed experiences to match their interests and choose from a variety of lodging options to customize a package.
  • Ticket Sales
    Attractions and events have the opportunity to participate in a ticket reservation system managed by aRes Travel. Leisure visitors can purchase tickets through our professional customer service center, online at visitmusiccity.com, or at the Nashville Visitor Information Center.
  • Discounts & Deals
    NCVC members have the opportunity to provide discounts and/or unique special offers to Visitors and/or fellow NCVC Members via visitmusiccity.com, further extending the marketing opportunities through multiple NCVC distribution channels.

Promotional Giveaways/Advertising Co-op Opportunities
Members will have the opportunity to participate in various promotions or advertising co-ops throughout the year. Promotional giveaways are coordinated based on special events and industry happenings aimed at increasing visitor room nights. Promotions are advertised through NCVC marketing channels and strategic partner programs varying from regional, national, and international radio, television, online, and retail options.

Website Listing
All members will receive a listing on the NCVC website (visitmusiccity.com) under the appropriate category (dining, lodging, convention services, etc.) as well as in the Member Directory. In addition to your primary company description (900 characters or less) and general contact information, your listing will include one company logo, one image, and one link that will take visitors directly to your website. Depending on membership level, enhanced website listing options include additional links to take visitors to your social media pages as well as a 5-image photo gallery.

Visitor Inquiry List
Members have the opportunity to receive the names and mailing addresses of potential visitors that have made inquiries into Music City. Members must opt in to receive this distribution list, sent twice a month.

Noteworthy Listing
Hall of Fame and above member listings populate as a top listing under appropriate category searches as a “Noteworthy Member” on visitmusiccity.com.

Member Email Send
Hall of Fame and above members will have the opportunity to send one targeted marketing email to the NCVC member database once per renewal year. Email sent upon member request.

Convention & Tourism Sales

Tourism Leads
Where applicable, members receive tourism leads and tourism service leads based on the clients’ specific requirements for hotel room nights, attractions, dining, sightseeing tours, etc. These leads represent potential business generated from domestic and international tour operators at industry trade shows and Tourism Sales Missions.

Monthly TAP Report Delivery
Upon member participation, hotel members can receive the TAP (Trends, Analysis & Projections) Report to be used as a pace benchmark tool.

Meeting & Convention Sales Leads
Platinum and above lodging members receive convention room night leads based on specific client requirements. Room night leads are applicable only to the properties paying to the Davidson County Hotel/Motel tax.

Lodging Director of Sales Meetings
Each quarter, the NCVC hosts a meeting for all Directors of Sales at lodging properties to discuss Convention and Tourism Sales efforts, NCVC Research/trends, and other pertinent topics. This meeting is designed to align Nashville’s sales efforts.

Roadshow & Sales Mission Invitations*
Hall of Fame and above members receive invitations to attend NCVC Roadshows and sales missions led by the NCVC Convention & Tourism Sales Teams. The roadshows take place in major cities across the country on a periodic basis and are designed to "sell Nashville" to meeting planners for their conventions and meetings or to Tour Operators as a leisure destination. Your participation gives you the opportunity to sell your services while promoting Nashville. Member is responsible for associated travel costs and expenses.
*Only open to members located in Davidson County.

Client Sales Events/Host City Event Invitations
Hall of Fame and above members receive invitations to attend various Client Sales Events and Host City Events held in Nashville throughout the year. These events give you direct exposure to key meeting planners with potential to bring their business to Music City.

Tradeshow Booth Participation
Hall of Fame and above members receive invitations to participate in industry tradeshow booth partnerships in conjunction with the NCVC Sales Team for the purpose of selling Nashville as a destination. Tradeshow participation varies and partner participation is subject to availability. Member is responsible for associated travel costs and expenses.

Convention Services

Member Referrals
NCVC member businesses may be referred to clients based on their specific meeting and convention needs. Member business and contact information is provided through the NCVC Convention Services Manager and is communicated directly to clients to help them source vendors for their convention needs.

Custom Marketing Materials for Conventions
Where applicable, members are included in customer marketing materials created for specific conventions coming to Nashville. Materials include maps, microsites, and general marketing materials.

Convention Calendar
Members receive access to the rolling NCVC Convention Calendar which includes the name of incoming convention groups, arrival and departure dates, number of attendees, and headquarter hotel. Dependent on membership level, enhanced calendar access includes *contact information for the convention services contact as well as convention information as far out as 18 months. This convention calendar allows you to prepare and plan for upcoming conventions in Music City and to be proactive in your contact and solicitation of meeting planners during their planning stages.

Nashville’s Hospitality Industry Celebration
Held each May during National Travel & Tourism Week, members receive an invitation to Nashville’s Hospitality Industry Celebration. This member event awards the annual Music City Hitmakers award for outstanding customer service and is a great opportunity to network with hospitality leaders.

Sell Nashville
A bi-monthly meeting designed to offer members the opportunity to network and share company news and information with the group of fellow members. You will hear from the NCVC Executive Staff on industry updates and insight into current NCVC sales, marketing, and public affairs efforts.

Tourism Connection
A bi-monthly networking meeting designed to update members on leisure marketing and tourism-specific sales efforts. Members learn about citywide tourism efforts with an opportunity to network and share company news and information with the group of fellow members.

Member Forum
This individualized meeting allows members to participate in a brainstorming session with a representative from various NCVC teams to discuss ways to maximize your membership. Members present your company/service to educate staff on business strengths and ways to best utilize your services. Available to members once per renewal year and must be scheduled with the NCVC membership team.

Chairman and President's Lunch
Double Platinum and above members are invited to the exclusive Chairman and President’s Lunch held in the fall. This is a great opportunity to network with other member executives and hear from the NCVC Chairman and President on the state of the Nashville hospitality industry.

Member Orientation
Member Orientation is designed to educate you on the hospitality industry, how the NCVC markets and sells Music City as a destination, and ways you can maximize your membership benefits. This orientation is held monthly at the NCVC office and is open to new members and new employees at current members.

Members have access to post job openings and search for candidates on Hospitality Works, Nashville’s first centralized website for job listings in the hospitality industry.

Music City Shop Discount*
All members receive a 15% discount on merchandise at the Music City Shop located in the Visitor Information Center at Bridgestone Arena. NCVC Hall of Fame members receive a 20% discount.

Member List
Gold and Platinum level members can request custom lists to target specific segments of NCVC members while Double Platinum and above members can request a list of all NCVC members. These lists include member name, member contact and mailing address, provided on an Excel spreadsheet. These are valuable lists to help you market your business to the local hospitality industry and can be requested once per renewal year.

Music City, Inc. Donation
A portion of Hall of Fame and above membership investment will be tax deductible and allocated to Music City, Inc., the NCVC Foundation. Music City, Inc. seeks to enhance the NCVC’s programs, providing education, training, and research benefiting Nashville citizens, the workforce of its hospitality industry, and visitors to Music City.
